Business Programme

The Conference “Modernization of Industrial Facilities in Ural” was organised in the framework of the exhibition in co-operation with the Union of Defence Industry Enterprises o of Sverdlovsk region and the Union of the Machine Builders of Sverdlovsk region. The Conference attracted many delegates, among them there were the representatives of big industrial corporations, engineering companies, suppliers.
The representative of Uralvagonzavod Corporation opened the Conference with the report on technical requirements to the equipment suppliers. Among the reporters there were the specialists of the following well-known companies: Solver Engineering company, SF Technologies and Engineering, Pumori-SIZ Ural Machine Building Company, Robur International, Weber Engineering, IMID, Wheelabratorand others. The Conference highlighted the most topical issues of efficient production development, industrial facilities modernization, introduction of new energy saving, information and other progressive technologies.
Specialists of the companies represented their newest technologies and equipment.

Visitors’ Statistics
UralMetalExpo 2011 was visited by over 3,000 specialists from different Russian regions and from abroad. According to the registration data, the majority of them (52%) came from Yekaterinburg, 28 % - from Sverdlovsk region (Nizhny Tahil, Kamensk-Uralsky, Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Polevskoy and others), 20% - from other regions (Chelyabinsk, Perm’, Surgut, Tumen’, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod and others). There were also visitors from Ukraine, Kazakhstan and other CIS countries.
UralMetalExpo 2011 was visited by large delegation from Uralvagonzavod Corporation. Managers and specialists of the Corporation saw the demonstrated equipment and hold meetings with the exhibitors.
